Fortunately, there are many solutions to deal with the problem.

How do I know if I have dry skin?

You will notice different discomforts in your skin: a feeling of tightness, visible peeling, a sallow tone, lack of vitality and loss of elasticity.

It is important to differentiate between dry and dehydrated skin. Dry skin is a type of skin and dehydrated skin is considered a condition of this skin.

How can I treat dry or very dry skin?

Use an effective cleaning agent

The first thing to check is the cleaning agent that we use. Like any cosmetic product, we must ensure that it is effective, but at the same time gentle so as not to deplete the skin's natural lipids.

It is most advisable that it be a product enriched with NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factors), since these components have the capacity to retain moisture in the dermis. NMF ensure the skin water reserves and are used to release it when needed. But the process of skin aging and, above all, external aggressions, degrade them mercilessly.

It is important to understand that NMFs do not provide hydration but are anti-dehydrating, that is, they do not provide water but rather prevent the loss of water that already exists inside the epidermis.

Softly

But there is no point in using a suitable product if we do not apply it gently, or in the way it should be done. Natural products are the most recommended: they are characterized by eliminating those elements that can cause irritation, allergies, or different types of intolerances in the user.

Apply the product gently, with time, avoiding causing any type of aggression to the dermis.

Hydration of dry skin

Ingredients such as lactate, urea or other NMF are some ingredients that facilitate the retention of hydration in the epidermal layers of the skin. It is important to note that these components are natural compounds of the dermis, so they are not toxic or allergenic. Other ingredients such as glucoglycerol or ceramide can also be good allies to end the dry skin either very dry skin.
