Tikal Sunrise Tour
We pick you up at your hotel on Flores Island at 3:00 a.m.
We drive approximately one hour and 20 minutes until we reach Tikal National Park.
The park rangers will check our tickets (not included).
After the ticket control we begin our walk until we reach Temple IV where we will observe the sunrise.
Then we begin an archaeological tour of approximately 3 hours visiting the most important parts of the Tikal National Park, central plaza, Lost World, Temple V, etc. Accompanied by our local guide who will provide information on history, flora, fauna, and archaeology.

Detailed Itinerary
3:00 AM – Hotel Pickup
Our team will pick you up from your hotel on Flores Island. We recommend eating a light breakfast before heading out and bringing a jacket, as temperatures can be cool in the early morning.

4:20 AM – Arrival at Tikal National Park
After approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the park entrance. Park rangers will check your entrance tickets (not included in the tour).

4:30 AM – Walk to Temple IV
We begin our night hike along the park's trails. We'll arrive at the majestic Temple IV, the tallest structure in Tikal at 65 meters.

5:30 AM – Sunrise from Temple IV
Enjoy one of Guatemala's most impressive natural spectacles. From the top of Temple IV, we'll watch the sun gradually illuminate the Petén rainforest and the pyramids emerging from the forest canopy. We'll listen to the sounds of the awakening jungle: howler monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife species.

6:30 AM – Archaeological Tour (3 hours)
Accompanied by our expert local guide, we will explore:

Central Plaza (Great Plaza): Ceremonial heart of Tikal with Temple I (Temple of the Great Jaguar) and Temple II
Central Acropolis: Complex of palaces and administrative structures
Lost World: Ceremonial complex with the Great Pyramid, one of the oldest structures on the site
Temple V: Impressive 57-meter-high pyramid
North Acropolis: Important funerary structures
During the tour, our guide will share fascinating information about:
